Antecedents and Outcome of Trainees’ Motivation: Evident from South East Asia

Research Aims: This study examines the effect of training content on trainee outcomes and mediating role trainees’ motivation in relationship between organisational citizenship behaviour. Design/Methodology/Approach: A cross-sectional research design was employed to collect 320 survey questionnaires from employees at Malaysian federal government’s central agencies Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory. The SmartPLS software programme utilised assess quality instrument subsequently test hypotheses. Findings: results demonstrate that significantly determines outcomes. Trainees’ learning mediates Theoretical Contribution/Originality: reveals behaviour sample. finding supports broadens previous studies conducted South East Asian other countries. Managerial Implication context: findings can assist managers understanding different paradigms construct formulate employee-oriented instructions maintain upgrade sustainability.
